PREFORMS INSPECTORS CAMERAS SYSTEM FT System has developed an inline inspector that allows the identification of the numerous defects that can be found during the moulding of preform plastic bottles. The system analyses in-line all the preforms, identifying deformation problems concerning the ring, the thread, the bottom and walls, and checking for enclosed or streaked bubbling. It can carry out preform dimensional inspections, check the injection point and PET distribution. The software allows independent management of various inspections in order to enable adaptation to the different formats to be produced. The rejection of preforms that do not conform cuts down on many inconveniences later on in production, as well as guaranteeing the aesthetics of the final bottle. Production data and statistics are memorised for later analysis.
